Trauma informed narrative-focused story work

It can be difficult to start when the world is swirling with chaos. There often aren’t sign posts we can look to explore how we might move forward. Whether it’s the sense that we are drowning or shut down, it is painful to feel the weight of the chaos alone.

It is both brave and vulnerable work to enter the stories of bodies which hold the sign posts for how we have learned to connect, cope, and survive.

How do we hold grief and joy, pain, suffering and goodness?

Does our faith bear up under the complexity of life?

In addition to offering psychotherapy, I also provide trauma informed narrative coaching focused on the somatic and narrative stories of life. I believe that the stories we carry in our embodied beings are a part of generation and personal themes and patterns, roles and styles of relating. The stories of our culture, ethnicity and families of origin impact the way we are in the world. As we explore stories and themes, we have the opportunity to invite care and healing into places of harm and trauma, planting seeds of redemption for not only yourself, but your family and community.

I accept cash, credit/debit cards, Stripe and Venmo.

*Credit/debit cards have an additional 3.7% processing fee. Payment is due at the beginning of each appointment.

Insurance: I am an Out of Network Provider. At the end of each week, I will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Sliding Scale: I offer 50% of my clients a discounted sliding scale appointments for those have a need. Priority is given to those who are experiencing homelessness, impacted by systemic racism or oppression.

Cancellation and Scheduling: Because the therapeutic relationship is built on consistency and safety- it is important to hold sessions at least once a week. I will reserve a time slot for you and I that will work for each week. I do require a 72-hour notice in case of any absences, and without a 72-hour notice I will still charge for the session.
